Director AI Digital Product Management – Commercial Value & Access What you will do Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. We are seeking a Director, AI Digital Product Management within Enterprise AI & Data Science to lead the product strategy, portfolio, and team for AI products supporting Commercial Value & Access. As a Director, Digital Product Management, you will operate as a Group Product Manager, setting direction across a group of AI products while developing product talent and partnering with business, engineering, data science, and domain leaders.
You will identify where AI can create meaningful business and customer value and translate those opportunities into scalable products with measurable outcomes. Lead a Group of AI Products: Serve as the Group Product Manager for a portfolio of AI products, defining the vision, strategy, roadmaps, and priorities across the product group. Operate as a player-coach, directly owning one product while providing strategic direction, coaching, and accountability across the broader product group.
Lead and Develop Product Talent: Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers, establishing strong product practices and a culture of customer focus, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Drive Portfolio Prioritization: Make cross-product prioritization and investment trade-offs, manage dependencies, and focus resources on the highest-value customer and business opportunities. Connect Business and Technology Strategy: Partner with Value & Access, engineering, data science, architecture, and other stakeholders to translate customer needs and business opportunities into product capabilities and scalable solutions.
Own the Product Lifecycle: Guide AI and machine learning products from discovery and experimentation through launch, adoption, scaling, and ongoing optimization. Drive Value and Product Performance: Own product-group outcomes, KPIs, adoption, usage, and AI/model performance measures. Use data and customer feedback to continuously improve products and demonstrate value realization. Scale AI Responsibly: Ensure products are scalable, enterprise-ready, and aligned with applicable Responsible AI, privacy, security, and technology standards.
What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Digital Product Management professional we seek has these qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 4 years of Information/Technology/Digital Product Management experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years of Information/Technology/Digital Product Management experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Information/Technology/Digital Product Management experience In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years’ experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources.
Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above. Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of product management or related experience, including 5+ years with AI/ML or data-driven enterprise products. Experience leading a portfolio or group of related products as a product suite Experience building products supporting Commercial Value & Access within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, agents, AI platforms, and production AI systems. Experience evaluating customer needs, product usage, business outcomes, and AI/model performance to guide product decisions. Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and communicate complex product and technology strategies clearly. 4+ years of people management and/or significant leadership experience directing teams, programs, or resources.
Demonstrated experience leading digital products, defining product strategy and roadmaps, prioritizing investments, and measuring product outcomes. Strong technical fluency and ability to partner effectively with engineering, data science, and architecture teams. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
