SurveyMonkey is making a significant bet that our AI platform, agentic product experiences, and data corpus are the foundation of our next decade of growth. We are looking for a Director of Product to own that bet end-to-end. You will set the strategy for building AI-native product experiences, lead the platform that makes them possible, and turn 25+ years of feedback data into a defensible competitive advantage.This is a high-ownership role at a company in real transition. You’ll have a small, senior team, close partnerships with Engineering and Data Science leadership, and direct line of sight to the CPO.
What you’ll be working on
- Lead product strategy for SurveyMonkey’s agentic and conversational surface areas. Influencing how intelligent, automated workflows change what it means to run a survey program.
- Own the AI/ML platform layer, enabling AI capabilities across the product, in close partnership with LLM infrastructure and data science teams.
- Define and execute a multi-phase strategy to make our data corpus a customer-facing competitive advantage, from cross-survey intelligence to industry benchmarks to predictive signals.
- Lead a team of PMs focused on AI platform and data products
We’d love to hear from people with
- Proven track record building an AI/ML platform at scale. Not just shipping AI features, but owning the platform that enables them across a product
- Experience shipping agentic products. Understanding of LLM-powered workflows, tool use, and autonomous agent design
- Strong data background, working where data was central to the product value proposition, not just an input
- Director-level PM leadership experience, ideally in a high-growth or platform-transformation context
- Ability to operate as a peer to VP-level engineering and data science leaders
- Evidence that your strategy work changed directions
The base pay provided for this position ranges from $200,600/ year - $259,600/ year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.
Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution. While this role is remote, it may require in-person participation. You will be encouraged to attend company events throughout the year.
