Quickbase is a no-code platform for building the operational apps a business outgrows spreadsheets on: project timelines, approvals, resource and capacity planning, field service dispatch, and the workflows that connect them. It sells to operations teams at mid-market and enterprise companies, with customers including Amazon, Procter & Gamble and Skanska, and it is a recurring G2 leader in low-code development. Vista Equity Partners bought a majority stake in 2019, and the company has been building out agentic workflow tooling under the Pave brand. For a PM, the interesting tension is serving citizen developers and IT governance in the same product.
