Senior Product Manager, Order Quality

Instacart

This Senior Product Manager role focuses on the ecommerce fulfillment experience. You will manage order quality systems to improve item discovery and replacement workflows for both customers and shoppers.

What you’d own

  • Order Quality vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Item discovery and replacement workflows
  • Shopper and customer communication tools
  • A/B and multivariate experimentation programs

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 4+ years of experience in operationally complex physical environments.
  • You are highly data-literate and comfortable with rigorous experimentation.
  • You can influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Not for you if…

  • You prefer simple, digital-only products without physical logistics constraints.
  • You prefer a slow-paced environment where requirements are perfectly defined upfront.
  • You prefer to work in isolation rather than navigating complex cross-functional stakeholder alignment.

Reading between the lines

  • The mention of 'cutting edge AI and LLM technologies' suggests the roadmap will involve integrating generative AI into fulfillment workflows.
  • The requirement to balance 'speed with quality and compliance' implies a high degree of scrutiny from legal and privacy teams on new features.
