Full job description
Location Type: Remote Location: EMEA - Remote; Israel - remote Employment Type: FullTime Department: Product & Design ABOUT DASH0 Join Dash0 and help us define the future of observability. We are OpenTelemetry-native, building a delightful, simple, and AI-centric platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and meaningless toil. Shape a product that developers love—all with transparent pricing and cost-control built in. The Opportunity Dash0 is looking for a Principal Product Manager to own and drive one of our most strategic product initiatives. You'll drive the discovery of which problems are worth solving for our customers, bring deep knowledge of the observability domain and business constraints, and be accountable for ensuring solutions are both valuable and viable — and that they actually land. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes observability and wants to shape the future of how engineering teams monitor and operate their systems. Based remotely in EMEA or Israel (CET timezone). What You'll Do - Drive product discovery by regularly interacting with customers and conducting qualitative interviews with target users. - Own product strategy for your initiative, working with the product team and key executives to define roadmap and priorities. - Contribute to finding solutions by bringing solid knowledge of business constraints, customers, technical limitations, and domain expertise. - Advocate for customer needs by deeply understanding the challenges users face with observability tools and with Dash0 specifically. - Be accountable for outcomes — measure and validate whether shipped solutions actually solve the problem you set out to solve. - Set, track, and manage product KPIs, reporting to leadership and aligning peers and other functions accordingly. - Guide and mentor other product managers, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement. What You Bring - Deep observability domain knowledge — you know the open-source ecosystem (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus) inside out and stay current with industry trends. - Software operations experience — you've operated non-trivial software in production, and ideally still run software for personal interests. - Strong data analysis skills — you've set up analytics processes and tooling, and can derive insights from complex data sets. - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills — you articulate product vision and rationale clearly to product teams, stakeholders, and executives. - Leadership and mentorship ability — you elevate the people around you. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Based in or willing to work CET timezone hours. Nice to Have - Experience building 0-to-1 products or leading major new product bets within an existing platform. - Background in AI/ML product management. - Experience in a high-growth startup environment. Why Dash0 This is a unique opportunity to help build a generational company. Dash0 is backed by top-tier investors including Balderton Capital, Accel and Cherry Ventures and led by a founding team with decades of experience in observability. We're in the middle of a massive growth phase after our Series B — and we're just getting started. If you're looking for a place where a great product meets great people, where momentum is real and your impact is visible from day one — this is it. What we offer: - Competitive salary & meaningful equity participation — you'll own part of what you're building - Flexible, remote-first work environment with offices in New York, Amsterdam, and Munich - €60/month phone & internet allowance - Location-specific benefits - Collaborative, fast-moving team culture with a builder mindset - Clear path for career growth and development - Direct access to founders and leadership

Dash0 is an OpenTelemetry-native observability platform that ingests logs, metrics, and traces through open standards (OTLP, PromQL, Perses) instead of proprietary agents, aimed at engineering teams who want full visibility without lock-in. Founded in 2023 and recently capitalized with a $110M Series B at a $1B valuation, it sells to dev and platform teams at companies including Tessl, Chargetrip, and EVgo. The team is small and senior — founders include the former Instana CEO — and treats AI as an implementation detail to reduce repetitive work rather than the headline product. A good fit for PMs interested in developer infrastructure and standards-led tooling.
