Full job description
Location: Remote, Canada Department: Product Management The opportunity At Unity, we’re fostering a culture built on Empathy, Respect, and Opportunity. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager of AI Solutions Strategic Enablement to lead the orchestration of AI across our enterprise. This isn't just about building applications; it’s about defining the framework, governance, and integration strategies that allow AI to transform how Unity operates. This strategic lead sits at the heart of the Enterprise AI team with a company-wide remit. You will act as the bridge between cutting-edge technical capabilities and high-value business outcomes, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Strategy and Execution. You will navigate the complex intersection of Engineering, IT, Security, Legal, and Finance to ensure AI isn't just a "feature," but a scalable business lever. What you'll be doing Architect the AI Portfolio: Instead of managing a single product, you will curate a portfolio of AI-enabled solutions, ensuring they align with Unity’s overarching business objectives and provide a cohesive user experience across departments. Drive Business Transformation: Work with cross-functional leaders to identify high-friction business processes and design AI-driven interventions. You will define the ROI frameworks and success metrics that justify AI investment. Enablement Governance: Partner with Security, Legal, and IT to build the "Golden Path" for AI adoption—creating the standards, guardrails, and shared capabilities that allow teams to deploy AI safely and efficiently. Strategic Interfacing: Act as the primary translator between technical ML teams and business stakeholders. You will translate complex technical constraints into business risks and opportunities. Lead Through Influence: Direct the roadmap for shared AI infrastructure and internal "platforms" that enable other teams to build their own solutions, ensuring we aren't reinventing the wheel in silos. Evangelism Change Management: Articulate a compelling vision for the "AI-augmented workplace." You will lead the communication strategy to ensure new capabilities are understood, adopted, and iteratively improved based on real-world business impact. What we're looking for 6+ years of Product/Program Management experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML or complex platform ecosystems. You have a track record of moving needles on business-wide metrics, not just shipping features. Systems Thinker: You understand the "Big Picture." You can see how a change in data infrastructure impacts Legal compliance, which in turn affects the end-user experience. Strategic Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of the LLM lifecycle (fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering, latency/cost trade-offs) and how these technologies integrate into enterprise tech stacks. Master of Influence: Proven ability to drive alignment in "dotted-line" environments. You can mediate between a developer’s desire for technical excellence and a business leader’s need for rapid ROI. Business Acumen: Experience building business cases for emerging tech, managing vendor relationships (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), and navigating the build-vs-buy-vs-partner matrix. You might also have Experience in Management Consulting or Internal Strategy: A background in high-level organizational problem-solving. Operational Excellence: Experience scaling internal platforms or centers of excellence (CoE) within a global SaaS environment. A "Solution Architect" Mindset: You enjoy the challenge of making disparate systems talk to each other to solve a human problem.
