This person will bring deep expertise in revenue operations and accounting systems, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear product strategy and execution plans. You will play a critical role in shaping the systems, controls, and data flows that power compliant revenue reporting, operational efficiency, and long-term scale. A day in the life (Responsibilities) Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap for Toast’s revenue systems, with a focus on revenue recognition, close-supporting workflows, and financial readiness at scale. Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, success metrics, and phased delivery plans, including build-versus-buy decisions for core finance and reconciliation capabilities. Ensure systems and workflows support ASC 606 / IFRS 15 compliance, revenue allocations, performance obligation treatment, deferred revenue handling, and downstream reporting needs. Drive scalable solutions for new products, pricing models, entities, and revenue flows entering the Toast ecosystem. Improve the accuracy, auditability, and resilience of revenue data and system workflows across upstream and downstream platforms. Drive measurable outcomes such as improved billing and revenue accuracy, faster month-end close support, reduced manual reconciliations, and better speed-to-launch for new offerings. What you'll need to thrive (Requirements) 5+ years of Product Management experience, with significant ownership of finance, revenue, quote-to-cash, order-to-cash, or ERP-adjacent platforms in a complex business environment. Strong experience with ERP, billing, and revenue automation platforms; NetSuite, Zuora Billing, and Zuora Revenue / RevPro experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success designing systems that support scalable, auditable financial processes, with strong understanding of reconciliation, data lineage, and internal control considerations. Experience evaluating and implementing build-versus-buy platform decisions for complex finance workflows and integrations. Proven ability to simplify complex business and technical problems into clear product strategy, roadmap decisions, and high-quality execution. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to prioritization, with the ability to define success metrics, measure business impact, and deep expertise with SQL.
