Full job description
Location Type: Remote Location: Remote (United States) Employment Type: FullTime Department: Product ABOUT US Higharc is a VC-backed startup that is changing how new homes are designed and built. Join a founding team who’ve shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple. We have raised a total of $83M with support from top-notch venture capital firms and more than 18 strategic investors—industry leaders in construction, building products manufacturing, and distribution. We're looking for a Director of Product, Home Design Platform to lead a major pillar of our Product organization. You'll set the vision, strategy, and execution for the core platform experience that powers the journey from drafting through construction documents—partnering closely with Engineering, Design, and GTM to build the foundation for how homes are designed, configured, and delivered. WHAT YOU’LL DO Serving as a product leader, you’ll set direction for one of Higharc’s most strategic product areas while managing and developing product managers across a broad platform surface area. Expect to: - Build and manage a strong team of product managers. Support team growth while maintaining a high bar for product thinking, execution, and customer impact. - Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Higharc’s core platform experience, including the end to end flow from drafting through construction documents. - Turn Studio product into a platform by exposing the core building model and drafting workflows through APIs, so customers and partners can integrate Higharc directly into their design, estimating, and operational systems. - Help define how AI is woven across the product portfolio, both as embedded intelligence within core workflows and as shared platform capabilities that can be leveraged across teams and products. Partner with R&D team to continue building best in class AI capabilities based on proprietary homebuilding data. - Own product metrics and business outcomes, with clear accountability for performance, adoption, quality, and impact over time. - Partner closely with Engineering and Design leadership to turn complex technical and workflow challenges into scalable, intuitive product experiences. - Shape how platform capabilities are exposed and extended through integrations, internal tooling, and shared services across the company. - Create clarity in ambiguous spaces by connecting customer needs, technical architecture, and company strategy into a clear product direction. - Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies, including advancements in AI, design automation, 3D workflows, interoperability, and construction technology. ABOUT YOU You’re a strategic, systems minded product leader who thrives on complexity and knows how to translate broad platform challenges into clear product direction. You are energized by building foundational products that enable great user experiences at scale and by leading teams through ambiguity with rigor and clarity. You have: - 8+ years of product management experience, including experience leading complex product areas or product teams - 4+ years of people management experience, including coaching and developing product managers - A strong track record of shipping platform, workflow, or systems driven products with meaningful customer and business impact - Pair strong product thinking with strong design judgment, ensuring experiences are not only effective and scalable, but also intuitive, cohesive, and high quality. - Experience leading cross functional teams across Product, Engineering, Design, and other partners in fast moving environments - A systems thinking mindset with the ability to connect technical architecture, customer workflows, and business goals - Operate with strong attention to detail, balancing big picture thinking with rigor in execution, product quality, and user experience. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions at both the strategic and tactical level - Comfort operating in ambiguity and turning broad problem spaces into focused roadmaps and execution plans A major plus if you also bring: - Experience in architecture, construction technology, design tools, or homebuilding software - Familiarity with 3D workflows, CAD or BIM style systems, configurators, or construction document generation - Experience with APIs, integrations, platform strategy, or AI enabled product experiences - Track record of scaling services with high data loads WORKING AT HIGHARC Higharc has been remote first since our founding in 2018. We offer flexible hours so you can do your best work without missing out on life. Higharc offers competitive salaries with significant equity, in a fast-growing, well-funded company. Personal healthiness is an important value for us- we provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with unlimited PTO, and meaningful maternity/paternity leave to all U.S based employees that are full-time. You'll also have access to other big-company benefits such like short and long-term disability plans and a 401K. Haven't worked remotely before? We provide a stipend to create the ideal home office.

About Higharc

See all roles →

Higharc is a cloud-based home design and production platform built for production home builders, letting design, engineering, and sales teams work from a single model that automatically generates floor plans, 3D renderings, structural documents, and material takeoffs in sync. It replaces the disconnected CAD, spreadsheet, and document workflows that home builders have relied on for decades. The company targets production builders — companies building hundreds or thousands of homes per year — where design complexity and plan variation create massive coordination costs. Higharc is venture-backed and is attacking a large, underdigitized market.
