As the Senior Director, Product - Data Platform , you are responsible for defining and leading a strategic product domain that transforms Rithum’s unique commerce network into a scalable, monetizable intelligence platform. You operate at the intersection of product, data, and business strategy—owning the vision, productization approach, and commercialization of data-driven products that deliver measurable client outcomes and drive meaningful revenue growth. In this role, you will turn complex, high-volume data assets into differentiated, client-facing products that create competitive advantage . You will establish repeatable models for packaging, pricing, and bringing intelligence products to market, while ensuring strong alignment across Product, Engineering, Data, and Commercial teams. As a senior leader, you influence company strategy, shape investment decisions, and drive a product portfolio that contributes directly to growth and market differentiation. Your success is measured by your ability to create scalable products that clients value and are willing to pay for, and by your impact on revenue and long-term platform strategy. Responsibilities Vision, Strategy Product Leadership Define and lead the long-term vision and strategy for the Commerce Intelligence Platform, aligned to company growth and revenue objectives Establish a differentiated product strategy that transforms data assets into high-value, client-facing offerings Translate market opportunities, client needs, and data capabilities into a clear, actionable product roadmap Productization Monetization Build, launch, and scale monetizable data-driven products across pricing, demand, and channel intelligence Define packaging, pricing, and commercialization strategies in partnership with Commercial and Finance teams Establish repeatable models for turning data capabilities into scalable, revenue-generating products Validate product-market fit and customer willingness to pay through iterative product launches, experimentation, and client feedback Platform Ecosystem Development Define and evolve the productization layer between data infrastructure and client-facing experiences Partner closely with Data Engineering to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality data assets Drive platform strategy to enable extensibility, reuse, and long-term product growth Cross-Functional Leadership Influence Lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, Marketing, and Client teams Shape and support go-to-market strategies, including positioning, packaging, and sales enablement Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on product strategy, investment priorities, and market opportunities Client Market Impact Develop deep understanding of client needs across brands, retailers, and commerce channels to inform product direction Ensure products deliver measurable business outcomes and clear ROI for clients Drive adoption and usage of intelligence products through strong alignment with client and commercial teams AI-First Product Innovation Embed AI into product strategy to enhance insights, automation, and differentiation Leverage machine learning and predictive analytics to create competitive advantage Drive innovation in how intelligence is generated, delivered, and consumed by clients Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 12+ years of experience in Product Management, Strategy, or related roles in SaaS, data platforms, or technology companies Proven track record of building and scaling data-driven or platform-based products, including launching new products or product lines Demonstrated success delivering revenue-generating products and establishing product-market fit Experience defining product strategy, including pricing, packaging, and go-to-market alignment Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across organizations Deep understanding of how to translate data assets into client-facing value and measurable business outcomes Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA a plus Experience in commerce, retail, marketplaces, or adjacent ecosystems Background in top-tier consulting or strategy roles Strong financial acumen, including experience building business cases and revenue models for new product investments Experience leveraging AI/ML in product development and product strategy Track record of building, leading, and mentoring high-performing product teams Executive presence with strong communication, storytelling, and influencing skills Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate and elevate your outcomes; including but not limited to communication drafting, data analysis, prompt engineering, and/or documentation Travel Required Up to 10% Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. We believe in transparency and fairness in our compensation practices. For this position, the expected base pay range is: $210,000-$300,000 per year. This range represents the base pay for the role across all U.S. locations and is determined based on market data, internal equity, and experience. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, skills, and relevant experience.In addition to base pay, we offer a discretionary bonus for non-sales roles, a comprehensive benefits package, and, where applicable, sales incentives. For this position, the expected discretionary bonus is 20% of the annual base salary.
