Full job description
Location Type: Remote Location: KOHO (CAN) Employment Type: FullTime Department: Product Compensation: CA$160K – CA$200K ABOUT KOHO We’re on a mission to make financial services better for every Canadian. That means no hidden fees, no predatory interest rates - just financial products designed to help our users spend smart, save more, and build real wealth. We’re a performance organization with a strong heart: we care deeply about outcomes, and everything ties back to our mission - to financially empower a generation of Canadians. At KOHO, we’re not your average 9-5. We believe real impact comes from people who are trusted, empowered, and supported to do their best work - without sacrificing their lives to do it. We prioritize work-life integration, not just work-life balance. That means asynchronous collaboration, flexible hours, and a remote-first setup built around autonomy and high trust. KOHO is entering its next chapter - leaner, smarter, more AI-integrated. We’re building for impact, not bureaucracy. If you thrive in environments that value clarity, ownership, and bold thinking, you’ll fit right in. About The Role We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team for a role to work remotely based in Canada. You're going to be a part of a team that's building the future of financial empowerment for Canadians. This is an evergreen opportunity to connect with our team and explore how your skills and ambitions align with KOHO's mission as we continue to scale. What You’ll Be Doing - You'll be identifying "unmet needs" for a domain, iterating non-obvious user needs and hypothesis. You'll own strategic discovery sessions, lead roadmap decisions through data-driven frameworks, and drive alignment on priorities that deliver meaningful customer value. - You'll be managing high-impact dependencies and cross-functional execution. You'll navigate complex dependencies across multiple functional teams, articulate domain strategy in executive settings, and ensure seamless delivery of sophisticated product initiatives. - You'll be building compelling business cases backed by data and economic models. You'll leverage quantitative analysis, behavioral insights, and AI to validate hypotheses, pressure-test strategies, and make evidence-based decisions that drive KOHO's mission forward. - You'll be owning the financial goals for your business domain. You'll justify features with comprehensive unit economics, balance short-term wins with long-term strategic bets, and build robust operational models that demonstrate clear ROI. Who You Are - Strategic operator with proven discovery skills. You independently lead discovery sessions to validate insights, build hypotheses, and manage 3-month rolling backlogs. You excel at identifying operational risks and articulating domain strategy to executive audiences. - AI-native product leader. You naturally integrate AI tools into your daily workflow—from discovery and analysis to strategy development and decision-making. You use AI to pressure-test ideas, synthesize large datasets, accelerate iterations, and uncover insights that would otherwise remain hidden. - Data-driven decision maker. You're comfortable working with data, building compelling business cases with robust operational and economic models. You can generate insights independently (including SQL when needed) and leverage both traditional analytics and AI to justify both short-term and long-term strategic bets. - Expert communicator and influencer. You write high-impact strategy documents and "Why" narratives that inspire action. You effectively balance input from Design and Engineering with customer needs, and you pull PD/EM in early discovery to ensure hidden risks are explored. - Experienced leader in high-stakes environments. You navigate high-value dependencies across functional teams, own the domain strategy with deep accountability, and strategically sequence rollouts, pricing, marketing, and business outcomes for a full business domain or segment. KOHO is for builders. If you’re energized by challenge, motivated by mission, and want to be part of a team that punches above its weight - we want to hear from you.   The KOHO culture is one of collaboration, creativity, and diverse perspectives. We are committed to building and fostering an inclusive, accessible environment for everyone. If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding accessibility needs, please contact peopleaccessibility@koho.ca and the People and Culture team will be happy to help.   AI Disclosure: KOHO uses artificial intelligence (AI) in certain aspects of its recruitment process to screen, assess, or select applicants.
